Balmeta is a single varietal wine made from the Carignan, the most traditional grape of the Empordà, a land of flowers and red skies, where the vines stoically resist the Tramontane north wind. This wine has been created to convey the spirit and strength of our land and relate to our history.

It can be enjoyed at any time of the day, as an aperitif, with tapas or cold cuts, and it pairs well with all types of stewed or grilled meat. Best served at: 14 -17°C.
Vineyards are planted in slate soil on mountain slopes.
An intense, vibrant cherry-coloured wine. With aromas of candied black fruits like cherries and blackberries, combined with hints of grey pepper. A full-bodied, powerful wine in the mouth, with the presence of tannins and an after-taste with touches of vanilla and exotic spices.
